CA A. Balasubramanian, the founder of the firm, having qualified as a Registered Accountant in 1946 became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on its inception. Starting on his own in 1950 in Chidambaram a small town, CA A. Balasubramanian has developed a thriving practice having clients all over Tamil Nadu and parts of the other southern state through his tireless attention to details and service delivery. As principal for many Chartered Accountant Students, he has mentored hundreds of students. His articled trainees have spread wings in many parts of India and abroad, both in practice and service.
He has wide experience in the taxation services having advised and represented cases under the Indian Income Tax Act, 1922 and Income Tax Act, 1961 on the Direct Taxes front; General Sales Tax and Value Added Tax on the Indirect Tax side. His experience in Audit and Assurances cover the Audits under Indian Companies Act, 1913 and the Companies Act, 1956. His zeal for practice of accountancy has not shrunk and he is eagerly looking forward to the audit under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and the introduction of DTC, and GST.
